To size the AD-500 unit for double doors with mullion, we need the following:
· Mullion Depth is the distance from the face of the door to the face of the mullion. Our products work within a range based on mullion depth.
· Mullion Width is the distance across the face of the mullion. This dimension becomes important when sizing a glass door with narrow metal frames.
· Free Space is the distance between the mullion and the edge of the stile (frame) that supports the glass. This dimension also becomes important when sizing glass doors with narrow metal stiles (frames).
AD-500's have either five-inch (5") or seven-inch (7") hook centers. This defines the attachment block position on the door. When sizing for glass doors, pay attention to mullion width and free space based on the centers above.
